At just 5 months old, Maxim was rushed to UVA Children's Hospital. Diagnosed with serious brain abnormalities, Cerebral Palsy, Infantile Spasms, & a very rare genetic disorder, his insurance refused to cover his costly life-saving medications. His family & community rallied to raise the money, allowing him to receive treatment.

“Miracle Maxim” was lucky. But he was also still seriously ill.

Maxim's family is well versed in the challenges & expenses a person with disabilities will face. His father, an Iraq War veteran, is totally disabled. Maxim is fortunate to have a mom who knows how to fundraise, thanks to her career in the nonprofit sector. But how many families facing similar circumstances don't have the benefit of that experience? Fueled by love & a commitment to "pay it forward," MMC was born.

In honor of Maxim & all children like him, we contribute a portion of each contract to help sick children & their families access life-saving & life-changing care.
